Blackbox is an application for designers that gives them the possibility to document their work with minimal interruptions in their workflow. This documentation can be accompanied with detailed context and shared with other members in a design team to bring the overall quality of the design to a higher level. By using Blackbox you will never lose visual knowledge. Besides that Blackbox can be used to close the gap between managers, the designers and the developers as all members of a project team can check out a design at a very early stage and give their feedback early on instead of waiting until a final result gets thrown over the fence. Blackbox can be used in online and offline mode and can synchronize over the internet with all of your colleagues. At the moment Blackbox is still in development and at this moment there is no public beta available.

De MonsterDebugger We believe in sharing your knowledge with the rest of the world and would like to contribute to our field of expertise. The open source MonsterDebugger is developed to debug applications that have been created in Flash, Adobe AIR or Adobe Flex. Developers can easily send elements of code or data to the Debugger which will show it in an understandable way. The MonsterDebugger consists of two parts. An installable AIR application developed in Adobe AIR and a set of scripts that can be included in the project that you want to debug.

De Monsters will continue to develop the Monster Debugger and offer it to the entire world... for free.

ComoHabla is designed and developed by de Monsters to process interviews. As part of our user-centered design process we conduct many interviews with users to find motivations, goals and behavior. We create complete transcripts for these interviews with the use of ComoHabla. ComoHabla is the first tool in a series of Designer/Research tools. Designers have a very different focus when it comes to do doing research than academics, ComoHabla is designed for designers. ComoHabla is developed as an online application that has various logins. Because of this multiple persons can work on the same interview at the same time while all contributing to it.

ComoHabla is currently in an alpha phase. We expect to publish more information on ComoHabla before 2009.
